Gear and Stuff
Boulevard prides itself on the quality of the music it provides.
That is directly impacted by the equipment they use. Many
folks inquire about our instruments and equipment. While this
isn't an exhaustive list of all our gear (that could be a website in
itself!), this will give our customers some idea of what we use when
we perform.

Keyboards - Mike uses Roland and Kurzweil sampling/digital
keyboards when performing with Boulevard. Using this
technology, he is able to faithfully reproduce many of the
orchestral sounds heard in the original recordings.

Vocals - The band exclusively uses matched sets of Shure
SM/ULX and Electrovoice ND series wired and wireless microphones for
live performance.

Percussion - Lee loves his Ludwig kit. He has a
beautiful black birch five piece set that he uses to perform with
Boulevard.

Guitars and Bass - If you ask Eric and John about their
guitars, they'll both tell you "Fender Rules". John's main axe
is a Stratocaster, while Eric plays a vintage Precision Jazz Bass.
John uses Marshall amplifiers, and Eric prefers Peavey
products for his bass.

Horns - Joe Harris prefers Selmer Mark V for his many
horns. Eric's trumpet is a vintage Bach Bb trumpet. Both
these manufacturers are world-renown for quality and tone.

Professional Sound - The band uses Mackie and JBL
equipment for their PA system. The whisper-quiet Mackie
powered mixer provides a perfect balance of sound to the responsive
and true-to-sound JBL powered EON speakers we use for our mains.
